Gabon midfielder Mario Lemina has been ruled out of the rest of the Africa Nations Cup because of a back injury.
Lemina left the field during his side’s opening match against Guinea-Bissau last Saturday, which they drew 1-1, and then missed the 1-1 draw with Burkina Faso on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old will be sidelined for another two weeks and will head back to Juventus for treatment.
Gabon are also set to lose full-back Johann Obiang, who was injured during the first half of Wednesday’s match and is unlikely to make another appearance at the tournament.
After two draws, the Afcon hosts need to beat Cameroon in their last group match on Sunday to advance to the quarter-finals.
